As we kick off a new year, we wanted to take a look back at all we’ve accomplished at Yellow Duck Marketing in 2015. From events to web design, new clients, new ducks and a new office, 2015 was a big year for us. Take a look below at our 2015 countdown.
New FacesWe welcomed 21 new clients this year, including nonprofit TreesCharlotte, Abacus Capital and the Gambrell Family Foundation– just to name a few. At Yellow Duck Marketing we strive to make ourselves an extension of your company and do all that we can to help your business thrive. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with each individual client and are thankful that you trust us with your business. |

In the NewsAt Yellow Duck in 2015, we developed and executed more than 35 different PR campaigns with 14 different clients, including Crosland Southeast, Henderson Properties, BB+M Architecture and TreesCharlotte. Our PR strategy helped our clients earn exposure and tell their stories through a variety of media outlets such as the Charlotte Business Journal, SouthPark Magazine, the Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Magazine, local television stations and various trade publications. |

Iconic IdentityNew clients brought in a steady stream of new brand creations and rebrandings. Our design team worked fervently on logo after logo, providing individualized attention and market research, as well as beautiful and purposeful designs for each client and business. Check out some of our new logos in our portfolio. |

It’s All in the NameThe name of a new property, community or business could mean the difference in writing a brand success story and launching a brand that can’t seem to catch on. Our national naming expertise for 2015 include Westly Shores, Outbox Self Storage, Renton Woods and The Davenport to name a few from Tampa to Seattle. Is there a magic formula for creating and choosing the ultimate name? You’ll have to call the ducks to find out! |
|
Digital RefreshIn 2015, Google began weighing mobile compatibility more heavily than ever. This prompted both current and new clients to opt for a website redesign to meet those qualifications and freshen up their online presence. Childress Klein, Marsh Properties, Essex Richards, Design Resource Group and Charlotte Housing Authority are just a few of the websites that were created or redesigned in 2015. |

Here for the PartyLast year, the Ducks showed that we know how to throw quite a bash! A new partnership with Crescent Communities led to a three-part Skyline Series project where we executed innovative events in uptown Charlotte. A VIP realtor event for Holding Village in Wake Forest, NC, the grand opening for Waverly, a hotel groundbreaking in SouthPark and the 5K on the Greenway in FreeMoreWest were among some of the events we helped produce or promote in 2015. |
|
Social ButterflyIn 2015 the social media world experienced the #twitterhearts fiasco, Instagram implemented paid ads, Periscope joined the online community and Facebook’s News Feed updated … again. At Yellow Duck, we ended 2015 with 5 more social media clients than when the year started. |

Still Swimming2015 also marked four years since the inception of Yellow Duck Marketing. It’s been a great ride so far, and we don’t plan on letting up anytime soon! |

#squadgoalsOur team expanded this year, with the addition of two new full-time positions. We welcomed our Director of Strategy, Angela Vogel Daley, in July and our Design and Digital Specialist, Kayla Stogner, in March. Our team has a vast range of experience and expertise and is now more capable than ever of taking on your business. |

Migrating SouthIn the past year our portfolio, client list and team all grew. Our old duck pond … did not. We loved our home on Worthington, but we needed a little bit more room to spread our wings. So, we did what ducks do – we migrated. We wrapped up 2015 with a move down the street to a bigger office better suited for our needs. You can find us now on Abbott Street, right around the corner in South End. |
2015 was a great year for Yellow Duck Marketing, and we are excited to see what big, new things 2016 has in store!
